The 2016 Northern Illinois Football Officiating Mechanics Clinic
Classroom and On Field Instruction with some of the Top Local College and High School Football Officials and Top Area Teams!
Dates, Locations, and Times:
July 20th, Classroom meeting, Batavia Park District Bartholomew Room, 327 W Wilson, Batavia IL, 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Food and refreshments will be served.
July 21st, PAID On field 7 on 7, James O. Breen Park, St Charles IL, 9am to 4pm
The Northern Illinois Football Officiating Mechanics Clinic (NIFOMC) is designed to provide classroom, on field training and instruction to football officials of all levels. This Level II Certified IHSA Officiating Clinic is an excellent opportunity for officials to receive one on one instruction while officiating live playing action.
Each official, beginner or veteran, will be provided with:
IHSA recommend football mechanics with an emphasis on mechanics and judgment with the opportunity to officiate live playing action (7 on 7).
Observation / Critique by accomplished NCAA Officials, IHSA Certified Clinicians and Playoff Officials
Camp Instructors Include:
Bill LeMonnier, Former Big Ten Referee, BCS National Championship 2011
Octavio Herrera, Supervisor of Officials, Upstate 8 Conference/Metro Conference, IHSA Clinician
Tim Kiefer, Supervisor of Officials, Mid Suburban League, IHSA
Robert Ybarra, 3 time State Final Official, Certified IHSA Clinician
This year's clinic offer two options:
Attend the classroom on July 20th and be assigned to officiate in the Fox Valley 7 on 7 tournament on Thursday July 21st (times vary depending on actual game assignment). During these games, you will be observed and evaluated. In addition, you will be PAID, yes PAID, to work these assignments so this is a great way to improve your officiating while getting paid to do it.**
Attend the classroom on July 20th only.
The cost of the clinic which includes all instruction and materials is:
